A major event in the design and interiors calendar, the May Design Series exhibition showcases the very latest exclusives in furniture, lighting, fabric and other design areas and we went there eager to discover new edgy design brands.
The event takes place in ExCel London and includes a wide range of seminars and lectures concerning the design and its business. Absolutely to follow.
In this post we will propose you our top 5 of brands and products, spotted during the exhibition.
Amazing Italian brand with international designers. Actually, the May Design Series is also their launch event and they are sponsored by the Basilicata Region.
Their ideas are really fresh and innovative. For example, their library has ”fake pillows” as uprights. Absolutely original and ironic. Also their collection of tables and stools are very colorful and glamourous. We think we will hear a lot about them in the future.
Greek brand with an original collection – Cage – based on teak wood.
This collection remains suspended between a modern and essential line and the exotic luxury resort taste. Eccentric but interesting.
Another Greek brand. Their Wired table perfectly follows the trend to use metal and wood together. Amazing piece, really clean, basic and elegan
Lighting company specialized in vintage and industrial lamps. In the vastness of their collection, the wall lamp covered with genuine leather is a must have. Really unusual, it will not pass unnoticed.
