Paris’s Maison and Objet showcase fantastic new home décor from all over the world.
And this year edition was superb. Full of rising designers it was the right occasion to find out new brands, trends and objects.
Here below our highlights for this year’s multinational design event.
No doubts. The protagonist is the Nordic Design.
Always with clean and minimalist shapes combined with raw materials and pastel colors.
Be Design
Two young, passionate girls create amazing objects inspired by nature. They both came from an architectural environment, their design is timeless and characterized by high-quality, sustainable materials.
Lily Bowl Medium size – 170€ – excluded delivery.
Aytm
Love at first sight with these rose mirrors by Aytm. The price for the larger one is around 270€ – excluded delivery.
Also their 3D cushions works really well with a geometric, interesting optical illusion. Absolutely fantastic to see and touch. Price from 70€ – excluded delivery.
Muubs
We don’t need to tell you why we were attracted by this company. For their industrial, rustic flavor.
As they say on their website that’s “style not fashion or trend”. Muub’s website worth a visit for the wide range of furniture you can find on it. We particularly love their cabinet with metal meshes and raw materials.
Geelli
An Italian company with innovative accessories made by silicone. The bath line is special. We can say stop to drill our walls! In fact they use a very resistant silicon to attach all their bathroom accessories. We particularly enjoyed “Li sta'”- a toohbrushes hanged on wall.
Ay Illuminate
From Netherlands. They create eye-catching lights made by bamboo. The designers of Ay Illuminate always explore natural materials. The result is a contemporary, organically shaped design.
Home and accessories
By Lassen
From Copenhagen. The simplicity of geometry meets the essence of detail in By Lassen’s collection. We literally fall in love with the beauty of their little accessories, such as Stropp, a new way to hang your objects.
Fest Amsterdam
Dutch design with a fresh twist and a pop of colour. We adore the Edge sofa and their vases. Pastels colors, soft atmosphere, a lot of copper and gold. Also their pillows collection is really interesting.
