Kampo lounge offers a unique style of herbal pharmacy where a doctor prescribes herbal medicine based on oriental medicine while those willing to incorporate herbal medicine into their lifestyle can learn more about it.
Since ancient times, pharmacies that handle herbal medicines have been surrounded by medicine shelves. ‘although furnishings with many drawers are supposed to be filled with medicine, we felt that they are also filled with a history and deep knowledge of their contents,’ say the designers. accordingly, the boxes are lined and stacked neatly in a way that displays samples with their aromas and textures.
Along with these built-in features for uniform expression, the studio also constructed desks, chairs, and light fixtures for counseling sessions. Mint green, the space’s signature color, expresses a therapeutic world derived from plants. it achieves an ambivalent atmosphere in which the heavy and light furniture coexist in a curious manner.
The private operating rooms, on the other hand, have white walls and beds. Thick drapes help patients relax by softening the impressions and connotations that can be associated with examination rooms.
